Although we don't have many junior members we run up to 8 matches each summer , and to encourage more junior anglers to take part all these are run as "open" matches so anyone under the age of 18 can take part.  So even if you are not a member all you need to do is contact Paul Richmond (07815 818030 or pmrichmond@hotmail.co.uk) to get your name on the list for any of these matches.

To comply with the regulations for phase 1 of the easing of the Coronavirus lockdown situation, we are not yet able to host any matches on our waters, so the first match which was scheduled for 23 May 2020 will be postponed and a new date set for it once the restrictions are lifted further.

This year, all juniors matches will be open to any junior (under 18) angler, so if you or your fishing friends are not yet members of our club you can still take part.  

The matches will all be at Halnaby Lake, and are held on Saturdays so that your dad or grandad can have his normal day fishing on the Sundays.

ALL ENTRANTS ARE GUARANTEED TACKLE VOUCHER PRIZES (REDEEMABLE AT CLEVELAND ANGLING CENTRE OR AT DARLINGTON ANGLING CENTRE), AND THERE ARE ALSO PRIZES FOR THE HEAVIEST FISH OF EACH SPECIES CAUGHT.
THERE ARE NO ENTRY FEES FOR ANY OF THE MATCHES, SO IT IS WELL WORTH YOUR WHILE COMING ALONG.
