Heavy overnight rain dropped water temperatures drastically, which resulted in weights being quite a bit lower than anticipated. Jamie Moore got off to a slow start, but then started to catch roach and small skimmers from peg 24, to finish as winner with 6lb 2oz. He also caught the heaviest (and only) barbel of 5oz. Ben Nash (peg 1) again got off to a good start, but a lost barbel after about 2 hours seemed to scare all the roach and skimmers away and he struggled for bites for the rest of the match. He finished second with 3lb 8oz. Sam Hutchinson fished his first match and came third with 3lb 7oz 8drams from peg 23. Included in this were the biggest skimmer (8oz), biggest eel (3oz) and biggest perch (1.5oz). Jamie, Ben and Sam all caught roach of 5oz to share that prize.
